Will The Revolution Be Televised?

In today's world, I'm sure you are just as reliant as I on the benefits of modern technology. We utilize technology in just about all facets of our lives and have grown accustomed to the ease of things. What however have any of us done to investigate just what goes on to bring us that technology. As consumers throughout history, it has been a simple fact of life that society often looks past or ignores the bad when it benefits from the so-called "good". From slavery, child labor, to wages if it's for my gain more times than not we turn a blind eye. That makes the most recent events at Google very interesting to me. Google is the most recent employer to face a major backlash from its staff regarding its corporate policies and governance. Nike, Apple, Nestle, and Philip Morris are just a few companies which have been scrutinized publicly for their actions or inaction.
